If you are a Thespian or an apprentice to become one, you don’t want to miss this!
Payment includes:

What happens at the festival?
  • Workshops on various theatre topics!
  • One Act performances!
  • Individual event competition in monologue, scenes, musical theatre, costume design, set design, etc.!
  • Auditions for Virginia Colleges!
  • Auditions for Scholarships!
  • A chance to meet other teens who love theatre from all over Virginia!

VIRGINIA THESPIAN CONFERENCE
This is a weekend of non-stop theatre fun and learning!
The Virginia State Thespian Conference is designed for students who are extremely interested in theatre as a possible career choice or who are extremely active in the Grafton High School Drama Department.  We’ll attend performances, enjoy theatre workshops, karaoke and dance with tons of other Virginia Thespians who love theatre.  There are activities planned all day and evening. 

Some students may wish to compete in individual or group categories for a chance to perform or design for fun or to move on to the International Thespian Festival in Nebraska this summer.

Others may wish to audition for Va. Colleges or speak with college representatives about the various programs available.

Those who are auditioning for scholarships and colleges need to see Ms. Kreicar.
